Sustainable Development for the Food & Beverage Industry
30-31 January 2013
Crowne Plaza City Centre, Amsterdam
The rate of growth of the global population has increased the strain on the food & beverage industry. At the same time, environmental factors are presenting new challenges within the food chain. The key question now is, how can food producers meet demand while minimising their impact on the world around them?
E.N.G.’s newest addition to the food & beverage summit series will focus on sustainability issues, strategies and initiatives within the industry. The programme concentrates on the practical management aspects of sustainability including resources, supply chain, packaging, environmental impact and communication. We will also address how sustainability is now core to business operations, product development and growth.
Engage in real business stories, best practices and discussion forums that will consider the following issues:
• Scarcity concerns and the strategies to mitigate their impact on the industry
• Making a strong business case for sustainability within your company
• Educating consumers on the environmental and social benefits of lower impact products
